Johnson to Lead U.S. Patent Office? Person Credited with Killing Patent Reform? One and the Same

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) picked up the news that Philip Johnson, Chief Intellectual Property Counsel of Johnson & Johnson corporation, is slated to become the next head of the U.S. Patent Office. Unfortunately for those who believe patent reform is necessary to the Open Knowledge Movement, Johnson’s history does not bode well.
